The current Carthage Eagles squad will head to the World Cup without striker Ahmed Akaichi or goalkeeper Moez Ben Cherifia.

Post the friendly against Turkey and goals from Anice Badri and Ferjani Sassi, the team drew (2-2).

Though Khazri sat out in the warm-ups of the Friday matches, yet he was selected into the squad.
